Correction
In technical analysis a correction is a market price movement in the opposite direction to an up or down trend that does not exceed the point from which the trend began. Corrections often retrace one third or two thirds of the trend. Confirmation that a correction has taken place may not be possible until the trend has resumed. Also known as a retracement
