No Par Value
Shares that are issued with no par value. Par value is the nominal or face value of the shares and bears no relationship to their traded value or to the underlying assets, which they represent. No par value shares prevent the possibility of creating a liability to shareholders in the unlikely event of the share price falling below the par value.
