Broker
Brokers act as agents for buyers and sellers for which they charge a commission or brokerage fee. There are two main categories of brokers: inter-dealer brokers, who only work with specialist market makers, and client or agency brokers, who deal on behalf of institutional or retail clients. The terms brokerage and brokerage house are interchangeable with broker.
